sooooo not a snowmobiler....LOLso finally neil takes me out on the snowmobile today-- have to picture this-- the only thing really snowmobile 'wear' was my helmet!! i had on neil's winter overalls and coat from work(he's 3x my size!! LOL...) and i wore his old Sorells...two of my feet coulda fit in one boot!! so off we go- (i didnt dress warm enough and felt the wind thru the coat--mind you we went out in a storm, so go figure) i dont know if i did more screamin out of fun or fright! i felt like a rag in the wind on the back of a loaded pick up.... that's what i was screamin about. it felt like i was going to get 'flicked' off the back of the darn thing-- i squeezed my legs together around neil so hard that...well, i could barely get off the machine when we got home.. my knees were locked too! OMG! it was too funny.. took a couple pics-- neil took one of me when we stopped and he let me take it down the field and back on my own. hope the picture turns out. they even have an old city bus at the back of a field, with doors on it, and a wood burning stove in it--wood shed outside the bus and an outhouse--go figure! oh- and another thing i screamed about-lol-- the speed! omg! it feels waaay faster as a passenger than when you are driving yourself, let me tell ya.i thought at times that he was going way over 100km/h, and we when i peeked over his shoulder...he was doing 80km/h...
it was fun-- dont know how soon i wanna go again tho-- lol...we'll see... course neil now thinks i want one of my own(course that's only so he can go get a new one and give me this one!...lol..)
off to make supper and decide whether im watching the oscars---i do-i dont-i do - i dont..
anyone else watch Brothers and Sisters?? how do you like the boyfriend/boyfriend action?? surprising the first time i saw them kiss! i didnt think they would show it on a tv show-- love the show tho-- sally fields..makes me laugh saying her name--
ok- gotta go make supper.

ok--did i mention how bad i am with the computer?ROFL.....i have to re-type this post, because i saved the first one as a draft...now i cant seem to access it to edit it and continue...LOL...GO FIGURE!!
the sun is shining to day and it feels wonderful! i love the sun!! (wasnt born in August for nuthin-- :) ) i cant for this summer--- i will actually get some saturdays off! i hired a part time student... what a relief... cant wait.
ok--here's a funny--- my DH calls me at the store yesterday to tell me he's going out on the snowmobile..sure-n/p i say--see ya later--
1/2 hour later, he calls to ask if i an leave the store-- why? i ask.... "to go home and get the gas can and bring it to me "!!!! ROFL Thank goodness he wasnt way out in the field somewhere-- he was pretty close to a side road and not very far from home or the store-- i laughed--then i took pics--(note to self: need better camera!) the flash couldnt reach all the way, so the pics didnt turn out very well... but i went ahead and waited for him at the gas station in town(the gas can didnt have much in it either!!) and i took a pic there...lol... silly boy--silly boy--
what's everyone up to this w/e? we are getting together with friends tonight for supper and playing cards... im looking forward to it--its been a long time for us to get togther--

a little more secret--no not the deoderant...LOL...i started the book "the secret" .... its all true-- all of it-- i've seen/read it in other forms in other books. But this one seems to be set in a way that keeps your attention and doesnt surround it in alot of pshyco babble...
i reccomend it to everyone! its probably an afternoon book and you can be done--as long as of course there are no kids yellin " MOM"!!!!! or a hubby yelling "HUN !!!!"

i hope to finish the book this weekend-- and start applying the theory more than i am trying to now... it all makes sense.. and im really not sure more of the world doesnt practice this? are we lazy? confused? selfish? insecure? afraid? what?? im not sure i know the answer to that-- but i am certainly gonna give the "secret" a whole hearted effort this year-- being this is what im considering the year for "me"... i quit smoking 2 years ago--that's a start...and i am trying to get the "hormones" under control...amazing what surgery does to a body--why is only hind sight 20/20?? and of course trying eat healthier etc etc... i slip at times (actually MOST times...hahahha i have such weekness when it comes to eating what i want and not what i should! eek) anyways-- this is a year for me-- so there you have it--
ok--on to other shtuffff.... at my 'other' job..i talked to a guy that might be interested in buying my motorcycle.. im thrilled but at the same time a little sad--i always thought i would sell it and buy another (bigger) bike...now im not so sure. last year, because of the store etc, i only got out on it ONCE-- is that not a kick in the pants! shheesh...lol... then i pondered the thought of taking the money and going to the greek islands... my sister put that idea in my head(thanks sis!) she said she wanted to go by the time she turns 55-- thats umm.. 3? years away--i lost count how old we are...lol... but now i want to go too! and i know DH wont go--he's not a traveller. oh dilemma, dilemma...lol... Of course we arent all lucky like Renee!!! HOLy ! she just got back from TWO , yes i said TWO weeks in cuba... and now she is planning a trip to California!! wowser.. F--U--N!! i forgot to ask where in california-- i just got back from 5 days there (for business..not fun--and the weather sucked, lol...and i didnt spend much time outside...LOL...)but i was right down the street from Disneyland-- wonder if thats where she is going too?? wouldnt that be funny....?

how many days til spring?ok-- what's up mother nature-- buzz off! i say-- first we dont even GET snow til well in to the new year... and NOW-- that's all its been doin!! enough already-- isnt the first day of spring on March 21? that's barely amonth away-- i got in my truck this morning and saw the temperature reading say minus 24... i hit the flippin dash thinking to myself: great! new truck and its already broken... ha ! joke was on me... the new came on a few minutes down the road, and they confirmed it-- man-- i gotta move...LOL...
so how is everyone's week going? i cant believe its already friday.. whoo hooo... (im not sure why im 'whooo hooo'n' about-- i work saturdays, 6 days a week for this chick-- but there's still something exciting about 'friday nites'...
in the summer, friday nites are 'camp fire' nites in the 'hood. A few of our neighbours gather and we rotate who's house its at-- just gather , have a drink or two and have a blazing fire... LOVE those nites... aaaahhhhh the summer... **pinch**pinch** ouch~! back to reality-- ok ok! sheesh...can a girl day dream....LOL...
ok, so one of my resolutions this year is to get more computer literate-- ya right-- no really- i really want to learn how to do some things... like UPLOAD a flippin picture here!! lol... i am soooo blond when it comes to this stuff... but i promise by 2008 i will have it mastered~! (insert big sheepish grin...)
im off to blog land to say hi to my fellow friends.... and drool with envy at their well laid out blogs and all the great pics they have on theirs too....LOL....

snow is in the air....holy! i came home today to find the driveway blown in almost entirely.... it was deeper on one side than the other...but man! (i can do with out to say the least)
of course hubby was in his glory-- just like a man --- he was riding around on his snowblower/tractor with his 'tent' around him and off he went! by the time i got back from getting him more gas for the tractor-- the driveway was finished--and as soon as i figure out how to load up pics on here-- i will show ya~
hubby is off to bed--he has to get up at 130am to go to work for 3am.... so i am going to go back down to the family room and curl up on the couch and get warm- im freezin!! bbbrrrr.....
hope everyone is enjoying their valentine day, be it with a partner, kids, family or friends... enjoy the people around you ...

i have to share my Valentine story-- for those of you that visit my forum on Stamp n Stuff-- you may have already read this-- but for those of you in blog land-- here it is:
Hubby set my alarm earlier than neccesary this morning--and then called to both wish me a Happy V-day, and tell me to be careful of the road conditions.....
I reminded him i was at the store to day and didnt have far to go-- i snuggled back in bed to watch some shows i recorded. When i finally DID get up and go into our bathroom--there was a really nice red sweater on the counter with a very "true" card.... brought me to tears...lol... i called to thank him, feeling a bit like a heel cuz i didnt leave anything for him... of course the day isnt over--
cant wait to read my fellow bloggers posts on their blogs to see how their day went.... with possibly the one exception of tammy...LOL.... those details arent for sharin......LOL...LOL... hope you have a fabulous valentines, girl...
im off to finish some projects... i hope to post again before the day is finished--

you gotta love laugh.....what a day---at my other job (which is where people do testing to get their licences)....i had a little run in in the 'marking ' area...this is the area with about 20 desks where people sit and write their tests...its somewhat secluded with only one way in and out...and i sit at a desk in the corner so i can hand out the various tests and watch people so they DONT cheat...and then of course mark and result the tests on the computer...soooooo---
ok-- so i thought kids would cheat-- but i just caught a middle+ aged man cheating today!!he had a copy of every version of the test we have!! (i dont know how he got his hands on them, but--)anyways-- i said "sir!" and he quickly put them in his duffle bag... i said "sir-- let me see what you have....and at the same time i took his tests away and told him he was finished... he followed me to the desk and when i repeatedly tried to ask to see what he put in his bag, he kept telling me "no-its my personal things-- and "i was only studying"...LOL... yeah- i said-- you're suppose to study BEFORE the test.. not DURING... anyways.. i eventually got him to give it up-- since i got up and managed to wedge myself so that he couldnt leave the testing area... i took the copies he had, gave him his 'receipt' papers with CHEATING on it and fails... and then he turns to me in his broken english and says : "i am NOT coming back to YOU... NO WAY -- i will go SOMEPLACE ELSE...!! ROFL... you do that sir is what went through my mind... and 'have a nice day' is what i said!! ROFL...(of course we DONT WANT him back-- he CHEATS!!! ROFL...)
so that was my excitement for the day...
and blasted! its cold today-- sheeesh-- enough already... i dont think my nose has warmed up! im a summer baby for a reason :)
im off to visit a couple blogs.. then off to watch HOUSE... love that show! i just finished watching Oprah--LOL.. Dr OZ was on.. hillarious--love him too. for those of you that might have missed it-- Dr Oz answered some more of those 'burning' questions.. and a White Sox player was in the audience with his wife-- needless to say he said he was going to get some 'diggs' for this...
they talked about douching...brazil waxing....bladder control.....cellulite....LOL... poor guy...
interesting to most of us women...but i think he would have enjoyed a trip to the dentist more...! :)

the secretok--so first i dont post for months...and now 3 in one day!! go figure--
i just read a friends blog (claudia's) and i too saw Oprah's show about the "secret"--it has created quite a stir-- i was at Costco on the w/e and bought the book(1/2price compared to bookstores btw...) i am looking forward to reading it-- i want to get the movie--- my niece is getting married inAugust- and they were thinking of giving each couple this as the "whatchyamucallit"on the plate...LOL... i cant think right now-- i gotta go home and eat--im starvin..
ok- so DH jsut called and said he is working overtime til 7pm, then going in to work again for 3am! so you know what that means? he will be coming home and pretty much going to bed! i am on my own for supper too-- sometimes i dont mind that -- means popcorn for supper most likely(a staple in my life...lol...)
Prison Break is on tonight too! (gotta love that Wentworth Miller....YUM!) i hate to see this show end-- but how can they possibly keep it going next year? are they gonna get caught and have to fight their way out of prison again? that will soooo suck if they do that-- that would just be dumb.
im antsy today-- too much to do-not enough time to do it...haha... and dont feel like doing ANY of it~! bigger haha!!
I saw my great-neice Indika yesterday at my sisters. She is two and a half. What a blast. she has started taking dance lessons and goes in to my sisters bedroom, finds her drawer that has her dance stuff in it(its at my sisters cuz she is the one that takes her on saturday mornings....) and she starts to put on her outfits.... then she will come out and parade around in them. she also has her Dora backpack for her dance stuff, and of course she comes out sporting that too! i wish i had my camera!! gggrrr! (note to self: TAKE CAMERA WHEREVER YOU GO) LOL....
guess i should get doing some of that which i dont want to do! ok-ok, im going!

it's monday morning---i usually feel "uugghh" for mondays...lol... but today i slept in til 9am!! wholy crap~! i had a late nite at the store on friday--and didnt unwind til 3am... only to get up at back at the store for 9am on saturday-- then spent the night at my sisters and watched movies with her and my neice-- til 2am! (and of course couldnt sleep--slept in my other neices bed since she was at her b/f place--man what a sqeeky bed!! every time i rolled over i woke up--)so needless to say, hardly any sleep again...and up before 9. I managed to go to bed at 11 on sunday night and woke up really early this mornin-- i changed the alarm, crawled back in to bed watched "Boston Legal" that i had recorded and fell asleep til 9.... aaaahhhh... much better now!! lol...
the sun is shining today--yay! havent seen that in a while either... dont mind a cold crisp day as long as the sun is shining- and of course DH is happy because he gets to snowmobile... finally he has a hobby-- im happy for him.!
well, i should go and get some work done--adn see if at some point i cant figure out how to "jazz" this site up a bit... great feat for me!! LOL... (wonder if i can import 'emoticons' here...lol... love those silly things.)

ok here goes....ok--here's goes- I am eheem...42! married(well, common law-you know how it is..lol..) have a kitty at home:Snickers-she's a tortie point hymilayan and is one of three(i lost Malibu and Gizzy a year ago and live in the country in a small village-- i LOVE it! You would NOT believe how long this took to set this blog up... ok-- if you know me , then you WOULD know...haha.... I had an old blog, and kept trying to get into it--but no luck- so here goes a new one.
Welcome to my "little spot in the world". I hope to be able to frequent this nook often, but please forgive me if i end up MIA. I own my own business as well as work part time, so life gets pretty busy sometimes. (something i plan on changing...making more 'me' time and more 'us' time for dear hubby and me) I love what i do and love the people i cross paths with.
