im baaaaaack!!!!!!!!!so im back from a weekend of scrappin.... not that i can say i got a whole lot done....it took forever to get set up on friday...but i managed to get 2 layouts (yes-- only TWO)...and altered canvas 'tag book'...and started a small altered book...i spent more time laughing at EVERYTHING than to get anything done...lol....
i cant wait for the one in October... should be alot of fun--tho the one in October is a one day crop--im sure it will still be alot of fun....
i wonder how tammy's crop weekend went?? cant wait to hear--(hhhmmm wonder what the topic of conversation was???? LOL...)
im glad to hear that a friend's father (ki's dad)is doing better than originally thought... he has been recently diagnosed with colan cancer--but the good news is that they dont think it has spread-- my thoughts and blessings are with you...!
karan--girl !! when are you gonna set me up with a REAL blog...rofl... help this computer not-literate chick out will ya??
i cant believe i am still awake... little over 2 hours sleep on friday night...and barely 5 or 6 on saturday night...more than i thought i was going to get...but still my eyes feel like someone is in there scratching from the inside out...!
Raquel brought a friend, Robin, and then there was Karan and Terri and then Carol and I that were in one room...what a hoot the 6 of us had... Poor Robin had to drive back to North Bay !!! and then go to a Jann Arden concert tonight (yeah, like THAT's tough...lol...) hope you have a great time at the concert-- hey!! and NO MORE sick days....ROFL.....ROFL....
well, im pooped... gonna go have a long, hot shower....and then watch some tv...i was thinking when i got home that i would finish that altered mini book-- uummm, yeah, NOT happenin...lol...i might be able to muster up the energy tomorrow nite...
not sure if im getting a cold, or just dehydrated--but dang! my lips are chapped big time! (just thought i would share that with ya...)

oh a croppin we will go......oh a ....croppin we will go!!!! ok-- this is the weekend... i am off for 3 days of scrapbooking....eating....DRINKING....laughing....NOT sleeping.... and having way too much fun with some friends.... i am STILL trying to pack --eek~! ahh what the heck-- take it ALL right???? LOL...LOL
well...its almost looking that way...lol...i have no idea how i am going to load all this in my truck-- i havae cases of stuff alreading in the back...omg....lol....
i know i wont be packing alot of clothes... track pants...tshirts...and jammies... not getting dressed this weekend if i can help it!!
ok-- gotta run-- its almost 8pm...gotta toss the rest of my shtuff in the bins...
and get home..

Easter......too funny---
my dear sister tried to pull a fast one over on her grand daughter--Indika....
My sister did her 'egg hunt' with Indy on friday--thinking she wasnt going to see her sunday morning-- well, plans changed and she had her over night on saturday til sunday morning afterall..... and of course , she now had nothing to 'do' with her cuz she did it all on the friday--
well... our mom, Indy's Om-mama, gave Indy a basket of eggs on Saturday--
so while Indy was occupied, my sister took those treats and hid them around.... and before she could start Indy off on the egg hunt, Indy found some hidden in the cats climby thing.... she announced in shock to her Oma..."look!! how did Om-mama's treats get in Oliver's bed?? "....(now how she even knew that those were some of the treats from Om-mama, is beyond us--she's only 2 1/2....but she knew all right--)
So she very quickly asked her Oma to show her the basket from Om-mama....and to her shock and dismay--the basket was empty-- well, i wish i was there to see her expression AND my sisters.... two and a half and she almost had my sister busted...lol... so dear sis told Indy that the Easter Bunny came and thought it would be fun to 'hide' the treats from Om-mama again... to which of course Indy thougth of for a second and decided that looking for more eggs was filling the basket up again was going to be ok afterall.....
Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend...time off--visiting...eating...whatever you did, i hope you enjoyed !
im working today-- decided to open anyways--although most of this town is closed...
but i have work to do anyways--and the morning was actually steady...lol...
so whatever the rest of the day brings --it brings...
im going away this coming weekend for a cropping weekend... i have to organize my "shtuff" for the weekend... eegads.... that's a chore in itself~! what to bring-- what to work on...lol....what to bring...LOL...LOL...
im waiting for DH to bring me the cupboard that i bought for the back room...to put my stuff out-of-sight-out-of-mind....so to speak... but i cant reach him. i can only guess where he is... OUTSIDE playing with the grass... he is obsessed with the 'yard'...and not that that is a bad thing...lol...i love it--our yard looks gorgeous all summer...but-- he tends to 'forget' other things he says he is gonna do...one being to bring this cupboard to the store and put it together for me....lol... one can only hope he has to pee and goes in the house at the precise moment i am calling....LOL.... yes, one can only hope....
ok-- off to work now--

not sure what to post today....Happy Easter everyone~!~ enjoy the time with family and friends...and dont eat too much chocolate !! (yeah, right, who am i kidding ? ENJOY IT ALL....LOL...)
man life can get crazy, cant it? im not sure how i let it get so nuts, but my candle is just about out of wax...lol...everything seems to creep up on me and WHAMMO ! right between the lookers....lol....
ok- so shake it off, right? good idea-- make room for the next hit...lmao....
ok-- so we have really gotten lazy with the whole cooking thing on weekends. i think we have gone out to eat every saturday for he past couple months!! fridays im never home for supper...and sundays---well , its been either a fend for yourself day or we make a roast or something...
but saturdays- night out-- whoopeee...love turtle jack's... and really lovin boston pizza...the Thai Pad pasta--img! TDF....(i think im hungry--as i pop a piece of cadbury melt in your mouth chocolate with crispies in it....happy easter to me...lol...)
i have a darn dilemma... i really really want to lose about 20 pounds... i dont know how i got the "junk in my trunk"...but i did... and now i wanna lose it! i have jsut never in my life had to watch what i ate before.... this is hard... kudo's to anyone that has lost alot of weight-- man-- i cant even imagine! i cant even get 5 pounds off---lol...
course sitting in the house all winter doesnt help--but still...
i hooked up on facebook--funny--not one person from highschool is on there...i still live in the same city that i grew up in and i dont even run into anyone from highschool.... wierd eh? Look me up and send a link to your own !
i look outside and it looks like a "snow globe"...not nice for April 7th...... green christmas--white easter-- only in canada! LOL....
going out for chinese dinner tomorrow with the whole gang-- it will be about 22 of us... going to this awesome chinese restaurant--huge! called the Mandarin. we've gotten so big now--with all the neices and nephews having kids..that we are 20+ when we all get together....its a house full let me tell ya...lol...
well, enough rambling for one day--
im excited about some new things that might be happening, jsut cant put them on here right yet-- hopefully soon!! i will keep you posted...lol..

this one's for you lyn.....dont ya just love sunday mornings??? no rush to get out of bed...(so why was i awake before 7am...after two days and nights of crazy hours??) but to lay in bed and snuggle up under the covers...and watch all the shows that i recorded all week...in total bliss--until i hear this squeeky mew-mew beside me coming from the floor. so i scooch to the edge of the bed and peer over--and what do i see? a wee little kitty looking up at me, flicking her tail, mewing and walking in circles. so what do i do? i reach down for her only to have her run away-- have i mentioned, she is a tortie point hymalayan....and ALL girl. her name is 'snickers'...or any one of probably 20 other names that i call her...lol... but she is so girly, its hillarious. she is afraid fo her own shadow at times... well DH gets up to get the string i keep close by for 'her' sake. so here he is walking around the room, having her chase him -- yeah, that lasts all of about 2 minutes ! lol ! he brings the string over to me.. im in relax mode...so i dont have all the enthusiasm im sure snickers was hoping for---so i dangle the string over the side and she flops and throws herself on the string like she's pouncing on a mouse-- only if you saw her...she is tiny but stout--and walks more like a polar bear---she looked like she was floundering after a fish out of water..and definitely swats like a girl...lol... i tell ya-- the personality makes me chuckle sometimes... it was like having a child climb up into bed with you on that one morning that you really just want to be cozy and lazy---- aaaahhhh the joys of having 'kids'...well... those of the four legged kind anyways....
i have a list longer than my arm of things to do -- dont you? but then thats what spring is about, isnt it? getting outside-- all the gardens clean, and the yard raked of the winter debris.... i am soooooo lucky that DH LOVES to do that sort of stuff.... he is in his glory-- thanks hun!! i appreciate it! (dang-- that means all the inside stuff is for me to do....LOL.... i knew there was a catch! )
the count down is on going to Deerhurst-- i cant wait-- going to sleep to the sound of loons....there just isnt much better ! (of course Kawartha dairy ice cream is right up there...lol...cant wait to have me some of that too!!!! :-) )
i was trying to work on a layout today-- trying to get the mojo going-- ended up changing it to totally different colours...lol... like the new choices way better!

whats everyones plans for easter? anything? we are all gathering at a restaurant on sunday-- guess we are going to the Mandarin....all 20 of us-- the foods great there--should be a good time!
